Habit/Neurosis: First of all, he’s epileptic, stimulations such as flashing lights, anxiety, waking up too quickly, and dreams can lead to seizures, because of his fear of having a seizure, Radio doesn’t sleep very much. During the day, Radio twitches often, usually his eyelid or his hand. Radio thinks you can find out everything about a person by the electric currents in their body, and he always makes sure his are regulated at all times. He’s very, very much interested in electricity and the paths of radio waves. He has several satellites that he uses to pick up signals. There are very few things Radio owns that do not have antennae sticking out of them. He is a huge UFO freak, and believes very strongly in aliens, one day; he hopes to pick up signals from them.

Personality
Personality: Radio is a very weird, and wacky. He’s generally good-natured but incredibly socially awkward. He doesn’t pay heed to things like personal space and will get in your face if he’s explaining something he finds super-cool, he also, gets excessively off-topic in casual conversation. Because of this, Radio usually finds himself lacking friends, which causes him grave anxiety. When he finds friends, he is extremely, hopelessly loyal to them. Radio often talks too fast, or too loud without realizing it, he also talks rather dramatically and with a Filipino accent. Radio is very strong, but doesn’t know his own strength, he’d never intentionally hurt anybody, however, he’s also very clumsy and awkward in his own height. He’s easily excited and loves to check people’s currents with a radar-like device he made which he carries around everywhere (constantly poking people and bugging people with it) it supposedly checks the level of electric currents running through somebody’s body and beeps if the level is too high. Radio thinks negative ions correspond with negative people and positive ions with positive people. He lumps people into “positive ion” and “negative ion” categories. Radio is an avid reader of superhero comic books, particularly Batman, Midnighter, Apollo, and Superman. Radio is absolutely convinced he was abducted by aliens when he was younger, but, according to him, his memory was erased so he remembers none of it. Radio would love nothing more then for the “aliens” to contact him again. He sometimes comes off as overbearing and completely oblivious but really he’s just a lovable oaf. He loves knowing people’s full Wammys names and finds them incredibly amusing.

History
History: Ramiro was born in a small town Philippines, his father ran a mechanics shop and his mother was a stay at home wife. Radio had a very distant relationship with his parents, they were more roommates then family. Radio’s father was always working in the shop, and his mother was always out having various affairs. Radio was never particularly pained by this, he learned how to cook, how to keep the house, and do many other things on his own, mostly, he read about science and technology. Radio remained completely oblivious to the “secret” agenda of his mother no matter how many hints she dropped. She figured it was pretty much pointless hiding it from him. One day she was in a fatal car accident with one of the men she was going out with. He died instantly; she was rushed to the hospital and died hours before Radio’s father could see her one last time. He was told of the circumstances later and was furious.

When Radio’s father came home he demanded in a rage to know why Radio hadn’t told him about his mother’s affairs. Radio wasn’t sure what he was talking about, he didn’t even know his mother was supposed to be home with him. His father felt utterly betrayed by him, and from there, the relationship grew even more distant. This period of coldness was very lonely for Radio, and quite possibly the time he fabricated these memories of an alien abduction just so he wouldn’t be so lonely anymore.

So when his father died in a freak work accident (that also left him sawed in half). Radio was left feeling guilty that he didn’t make a mends with him before it was too late.

Radio never fit in at any of the orphanages he was sent to. He was always teased for his height and accent. Sometimes even bullies gave up on him, because whenever they insulted him, he would just be happy they were speaking to him and remain completely oblivious to everything they said. On one occasion, he accidentally bumped into one bully and ended up pushing the poor kid into a wall so hard he cracked it, this was the first time he’d ever hurt somebody physically ever. Because of it, the other children became afraid of him and thought of him as “dangerous. They all steered clear from him and he never had any friends. He was completely miserable and only found solace in his radar and other devices.

The caretakers always knew he was brilliant, but never thought he would go anywhere with it until they were notified about a place in Europe called Wammys. Radio took the test, jumping at any chance to leave a place where everybody hated him, he passed, and after about a 9 hour plane ride he arrived.
